and his mom. The barn swallows are out in force in our neighborhood, and this fearless youngster wanted to meet me. It came very close to landing on my hand but settled on the roof right next to me. Mother wasn't too excited about it.

I was attempting to catch them in flight, but I wasn't ready for a shot from three feet away.

Catching barn swallows in flight is not an easy task. Fast flight and quick maneuvers. You did get good shots of the birds despite intense backlight. Thanks for posting. Mike
