Great shots of the lizards. I have seen all of these in Arkansas, but the striped lizard and American Anole are not to common to where I currently live. What lens did you use for the extreme close up? Good color and detail I'm all images. Mike

I really like that last one. Kind of giving you the inquisitive eye.

All great shots. The green lizard is interesting and that last close-up is great.

Thanks Mike! I used the D FA 100mm macro for that one. I was going to use my Irix, but I thought it might be too intimidating.

Thanks PJ1! For some reason that last lizard allowed me to get pretty close for the shot.

I always like what you show from the 100mm macro lens--as in this case.
But I really like the top one; that image stands right out!
Angky.

Thanks Jer! I was lucky that it stayed still for me to get the shot.

Thanks EM! I had to do a little PP on it. I wasn't sure what to do with the wood shutter on the left, so I changed the color a little to blend in and then I added some vignetting on the right to balance it.

Thanks Angky! I really liked the lighting on that first shot. It also helped that the lizard posed nicely on top of the rock.
