I slept in Valleyfield, Quebec, just once in my life, 15 years ago. I took this early morning picture from my room. Canon A640 compact.

That is an interesting scene to wake up to in a hotel room.
I've had my times waking to early morning light from a hotel room, but none looked as peaceful as this one.

Quebec is a very peaceful area. People are always ready to help, give directions or gossip about the weather or the latest news. Valleyfield is near the Ontario border and is the warmest point in the whole Province.
