Macro Froggy

A small Strecker's Chorus Frog paid a visit to my deck and rested on the lower wood railing for most of the afternoon yesterday. It didn't mind getting a camera lens stuck in its face at all.

The first two shots are with the D FA 100mm macro on my K-5 and the third is the Irix 150mm macro on my K-3ii.

Look into my eyes. You are getting very sleepy.😊 I really like the camo patterns on tree frogs. Good series of shots.

Thanks Jer! It was so relaxed that I had to touch it to make sure it was still alive.

Actually it was 95 degrees, so I sprayed it with a bit of water.

Thanks Mike! This little guy fits in perfectly with the limestone rocks in my planters. I probably never would have seen it in there.
