PPG 1st Image

My image "Mittens in B&W" was accepted by PPG. Whoohoo!

Yes, congratulations. Personally I get jaded when I see all those colored images of the Southwest, even though I don't want to. Perhaps I have seen too many. It is a good image and it is refreshing to see good b/w images for a change.

Thanks to you all. The B&W conversion was inspired by an Ansel Adams image taken nearly where I stood to take this one. Many times B&W gives a photograph a "classic" feel and as I started out in B&W I guess that makes me a classic too.
