A very well focused shot of an extravagant set of blooms. Nice pastel pinks against black and great detail in the delicate blooms.

The dark B/G makes this flower really stand out showing all the detail of it's beauty.

Studio shot... so that black background was a bonus, it was actually a very dark green, but had no light on it.

Very pretty. Love the diaphanous texture of the petals, captured beautifully. As I understand it, not native to the British Isles, but it is native to Virginia. I'm going to have to make a trip into the hills, now, to see if I can find some wild ones.
