Suresh,

Nice series, isn't it hard to decide what to shoot in DC? Every time I go I wind up with so many pictures that it is a daunting task to go through them all. I like the monuments the best though. Your picture of the Washington Monument is so interesting because the eye doesn't normally expect the bright area at the bottom and the dark at the top like that. Was it taken after sunset with the lights illuminating it from the ground?

The monument image was taken before the sunset, actually long before sunset. Was lucky to get the lights on the monument like that!!!

Nice series. Thanks for posting. I enjoy seeing other people's pictures of the area where I live. Perfect lighting and sky for the shot of the capitol building. From the tree in front it looks like you were here just recently?

i really like the one of the capital building
and i would definitely like the last one, of the washington monument a lot more if it weren't so crooked.

Have you forgotten where it was taken, crooked is the norm. LOL
