My wife and I visited Great Saltee Island in Ireland yesterday. It's a private, uninhabited island about a 20-minute boat ride from Kilmore Quay. The island is home to thousands of nesting seabirds, including puffins, gannets, guilemots and razorbills. We had fabulous weather and saw lots of birds. We ran out of time and missed a gannet colony, so I guess we'll have to go back...

Being able to go back for more time isn't a bad idea. Looks like there was plenty more to explore. The Gannets look interesting, but my personal favorites are the Puffins. Nice images . Thanks for sharing.
