Yellow warblers are vital to coffee farms in Costa Rica where they eat up to 50% of the borer bettles. The beetles are invasive and immune to pesticides.

I love these birds.

Interesting looking bird! For sure interesting!
And then the story told by swanlefitte really adds to the interest.
On top of which this image was not taken on a Costa Rica coffee farm, but way up north!

A great image and a bit of thanks for the background mention of the beetle eating prowess these birds have . Natural insect control can be very useful when used wisely .
