Nice shot. What manufacturer produced that car? Was it a Chrysler based vehicle?

Valiant Charger made by Chrysler

I remember those very well.
Dodge answering Mustang and Camaro.
I really wanted one.

Of course over here in North America, we never did see any of these Aussie Chargers...although I may have seen one. Think they had an inline hemi head six...with overhead cam ? Interesting specs for that engine.

Kind of reminded me...in design... of the inline OHC, six that Jeep brought out for the original Wagoneer.

It's interesting how companies headquartered in the US branded cars built and sold elsewhere. In the states, a Charger was (and still is) a Dodge, and the Valiant was a compact model of Plymouth (which was pretty much like a Dodge). Anyway, thanks for posting the photo, EM - an interesting machine, for sure.
