Some High Contrast Photos....
Posted By: AlexanderMayorov, 12-17-2008, 06:56 AM

Today I went to Hayyam, the Photography center in Istanbul. There you can find everything related with photography. But finding Pentax Equipment is very hard.
Here are some prices
DA* 50-135 = 2nd hand or maybe 3rd is 850 $
M 50mm 1.7 = Very old lens is 100 $
Thus there is reason to be happy because you able to buy this equipment at least cheaper

Anyway, thats why I post new thread. Some High Contrast Photos

Very nice! Quite a technique you have there. Care to elaborate?

Very nice. Don't like the second image and consider over the top. Way too much contrast. But the first and third are outstanding. While the third has incredible light contrast, the first is more evocative and for me conveys both sympathy and sadness.

I just want to clarify and elaboarte on my earlier comments. While I do think the second image is way too contrasty and represents a certain kind of stylized image, this does not mean it is not a good image for some people. It is just one I do not personally like. These type of images have their place and it is matter of taste as to whether one likes them or not for certain purposes.

I do like your treatment of the timepieces. Well done.

Fragla,

You should be very proud of the progress you are making with your photography. It seems like every image you post is better than the previous. Keep up the great work and keep posting.
