As Jer might say, this would make a great cover for a mystery novel. Just enough darkness to make it look a little sinister. Lovely capture and processing.

This is a great way to present a beautiful red rose. I love the glow of the red against the jet-black background.

That is a very beautiful way to present a deep red rose! Probably cannot find a better way.
Now, I am intrigued and I would like to get the same rose in a high key image just to see what would be lost (or gained).
(Sorry! I'm just trying to explore the notion of what makes photographic art.)
