Angky.
Thanks a lot. The goose was in a quite close to the shore area, with grassy areas in the water and also clear areas. I suppose it was taking a break and getting some things to nibble on.

Originally posted by MikeNArk Nice shot with good detail and colors. I like the wake created by goose movement through the water.
Thanks. I also noticed how the wake sort of added to the features of the shot.

Originally posted by PJ1 Nice shot. Vey clear feather details. That lens performs well (as does the person holding it, of course).
Thanks. The K-5 IIs really performs quite well with my Sigma 150-500 for Pentax. I also have used the K-3 II on with the 150-500, but now I have that on my Pentax 16-85 lens for landscape. The K-5 IIs gives me excellent imagery with it, so for now I am satisfied.

Thank you. My Sigma 150-500 for Pentax and K-5 IIs are capable of really nice images. When I first got my K-5 IIs brand new years ago, I was kind of surprised at how accurate the detail was in the images I was getting, and I still enjoy the camera and how capable it can be.

Thanks a lot. I appreciate that.
I am about 60 miles from the Canadian border, so I see these type of birds sort of frequently. Sometimes they will swim around close to where I am on the shore like this one did, and sometimes they will act kind of wary and take off.
