It really is the old cast iron kettle I keep on the woodstove to help humidify in the winter. I wasn't going to enter but I got the last day email and walked around with my camera for a while snapping stuff around the house and liked this one enough to share.
I used Rawtherapee to push the colors and contrast for a dramatic art effect, and cropped in close to make the handle an out of frame suggestion and really isolate the subject.
