Nature A few takes from the Nature Preserve

As it gets hotter, the variety of wildlife change. Here is a sampling from a recent visit.

Thank you. When I go to this place, I don't know what to expect but I usually find something to shoot. The last time I went, the highlight was single butterfly on some interesting flower. Formerly I could visit this place and find a Great Blue Heron, Green Heron or Kingfisher. There are beavers but I've only seen them twice.

Thank you. When I don't find any one shot that's a headliner, I usually post a variety of shots that I found interesting in some way. Glad you found some interesting. This place is located in the city and was created by Hendrix College in Conway, a private liberal arts college.

Well, though no real headliner, you seem to have compiled a lot of critters that you like to shoot.
I liked the crazy reflected greens with the beaver.
And the single turtle was quite striking to me.
The fish reminded me that I have not caught any fish in a very long time.
(And you have one shot that I'll let somebody else comment on. Good shot of the wrong subject!)

Thanks Angky. Sometimes those critters are all there is to shoot. That swimming critter is likely a Nutria, not a Beaver. I haven't caught a fish in a good while either. The snake is quite nice if you like looking at them. I'm glad that you liked the variety.
