Just one... A Morning Inspiration
Posted By: Marc Langille, 12-17-2008, 06:08 PM

With a "crappy" lens - the DA 50-200...

A variant of a post from 2007... found an earlier shot from the same day, when the sun was much redder and lower on the horizon:

K10D + DA 50-200 w/monopod.

EXIF: SmugMug Photo Sharing. Your photos look better here.

I spent about 10 minutes at the edge of this open field watching the mist drift across the field, and the sun slowly rising. It's really hard to describe! The vehicles passing by must have thought I was a loon...

Cheers,
Marc

Thanks Steve! I agree - you have to look carefully to see those details shrouded in the mist/fog.

Thank you Jim, and it's nice to know how it all ties together for you. Arkansas is now labeled "The Natural State", which I believe is still a good title. The forests here are well managed for the most part, and that is a good thing.

I should be up at Peel Mansion again later on this year to photograph the Pea Ridge battle done by the civil war reenactment folks. Take care Jim!

Regards,
Marc
