Fronds of Platinum
Lens: FA 50mm f2.8 macro Camera: K-3II Photo Location: Norcal ISO: 320 Shutter Speed: 1/350s Aperture: F4

I was going through some photos looking for some that might be interesting if converted to black & white. I kind of like how this one came out.

From my view, this conversion to black and white is a striking success. I don't remember the original, but this platinum edition is beautiful. Well done, Todd.

Thanks Mike. Here is the original. I really like the way the FA 50mm macro rendered the greens in the original. I posted this awhile back on PF.

Thanks Mike! This is the one image that really started my appreciation of how great of a lens the FA 50 macro is.

Specular highlights used and handled beautifully.
Usually, they are a nuisance for me, but these made the shot.
