Nature Little pool in winter garb. Strange as flowing water doesn't freeze ...

Little pool harboring a trout population in winter. Water is very cold and the fish remain almost motionless at the bottom, waiting for better days. The colder the water, the more it contains dissolved oxygen, so the fish doesn't have to move much to be able to breathe sufficiently. Pentax K3 + HD DA 16-85 mm ED WR @ 35 mm FL.

If it maintains that level of flow it shouldn't. Nice color contrasts and pretty scene.
