Icky Swimming

Apparently, gallinules are not especially particular about where (and in what) they swim.

Jer, it was probably just providing you a shot where it had good contrast with the water.😊. You have to admit that it does stand out in that green slime. Nice capture.

Well, if that is all they have, then I guess they just swim in it and enjoy it.
We've got that stuff a lot over here, and the birds just have to live with it.
Nice picture of the bird and its environment.

Thanks for the nice words about the pic, and I'm guessing this critter may be in a slimy pool because he or she like it!
