Noon of Norway

Short day time in Norway now, it is a little bit depressing.

This is such a beautiful place that I doubt I will ever have the money and time to visit. Thanks for such a beautiful image for the festive season.

Very nice scene, and familiar too, I am only two degrees more south here! But just a week waiting and we will get longer days again!

A serene, beautiful photograph. At least you can get light like this a lunch time - this time of year we have to wait for the cocktail hour - when there's other things to do.

Yes, a beautiful soft glow, and no doubt you waited for the two people to walk in the open area. Very nice. I note, however, that you shot the image at 1/10 of a second at ISO 100, did you use a tripod?

No, i just hold the camera by hand, i do not want to use high iso, so i used a longer shutter speed. But fortuanately, the focal length was 24mm, so even it was 1/10s, it looks ok.
