So the blue beak is a characteristic of the Tricolored Heron. It really is a nice shade of blue. You caught it in a good pose. Nice details and colors. Good shot.

Thanks, my pond seems to attract all sorts of Herons and other waders. I think I took close to 30 shots and this was my favorite. Glad you enjoyed
