Nature Calla Leaf Patterns

with a few magenta blooms mixed in. There would be more blooms, but many of them ended up in a vase on our kitchen table.

Nice compositions to show these leaf patterns and blooms. The colors captured in these images are refreshing and inviting. Excellent captures. The leaf patterns and their twists and turns can be mesmerising. BTW, great background blur.

I love callas...these are wonderful images! I'll enjoy them while scowling at my callas, which don't seem to want to flower just now.

Thanks Mike! We moved into this place late last fall, and I had no idea this plant was in the yard. It was a treat to see it sprout this spring.

Thanks Julie! I took the photos a couple of months ago. The plant has now been pretty beat up by our very hot, dry summer. I am glad I got these shots when I did.

Understood. They love a moist environment. Mine are growing nicely, just no flowers yet. It's been hotter than usual here, too, although nowhere near as hot as your locale. This is our wet season, so far the rains have been more or less typical for summer in Miami. So far...
