A New Neighbor

A whitetail fawn and its mother are hanging out behind my house in the cedars. They are usually bedded down under the trees during the day, but the little one pops up to take a look around once in a while.

So pretty. Gosh, it's nice to have wildlife like this around. We had to wait on a pair of young deer, slightly older than this fawn, cross the road on our hill a few days ago. This is nice image and a joy to see. Thanks for sharing.

What a cutie! Looks like there's plenty to see in your area.

Thanks Mike! I am so happy that they decided to hang around behind us. Fawns are such cute little critters.

Thanks Jer! We have an over-abundance of deer around here. Unfortunately, they are taking a beating with the drought as there is now not much for them to eat. They are coming into our yards and eating pretty much everything.
