Osprey Day at Blue Ridge Reservoir
Lens: Pentax D FA 150-450mm Camera: K-3 III Photo Location: Blue Ridge, AZ

We didn't see a bald eagle during the whole kayaking trip there, but the osprey were really active.

No trip is complete without a series of Osprey shots. You got some great poses and bird in flight photos. I can see why Kiddo70 liked the fifth image of the Osprey looking up, a unique shot. Focus and colors is good in all shots. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you. Most places I've been the ospreys tend to not be surrounded by green, they seem to prefer the dead trees. This was a nice change

Thank you. Definitely one of the most common birds of prey around the water in Arizona and one of my favorites.

Those osprey were pretty active, you say, and it looks like a lot of actively looking at you.
Except that interesting shot of the osprey looking up.

Thank you. I go out early in the morning and they are doing a lot of hunting then and yes, they definitely were keeping an eye on us.
