There were a lot of butterflies and other insects up there. These were taken with either the 150-450 or 100 macro.

This is an excellent series of insect captures. Really beautiful colors and details. My favs are the double (mirrored) butterfly shots and the red caped wasp?

PS. Must include the small orange bug on the tiny purple flowers.

Thank you. I'm not sure what the red winged one is. Never seen one before. I didn't notice the butterfly on the bottom when I was taking those. I was so focused on the one on top.

Interestingly "glowing" red / orange in those top butterflies.
The color stands right out.

Thank you. It was late afternoon for those and the sun was really intense.
