Hummingbirds at the feeders
Lens: Sigma 135-400 APO Camera: Pentax KP Photo Location: Yard ISO: 2500 Shutter Speed: 1/500s Aperture: F5.6

Hummingbirds have been slow to arrive at our feeders, but some have shown up recently. Thanks for looking.

Awesome Hummingbird Images. I find it interesting when they hover for a few seconds deciding which supply tube to feed from. It is not as though there are different flavors being offered.

Thank you very much. Good bokeh is something you get or don't get at times. I tried keeping the aperture open as much as possible to shoot the fastest shutter speed possible without introducing too much noise.😉

I really like the two shots of the ruby-throated bird on the twigs.

Thanks Angky. I am glad that you zeroed in on those two shots. It's not often that I get shots where the ruby throat shows the colors brightly. The light has to be just right.
