Outstanding capture with ideal light and great focus. I like the colors of that bird.

Thank you Mike! Eastern Yellow Robins are one of my favourite birds, not least because they seem to be as curious about us as we are of them. There has been a Rose Robin in the same area recently, but I haven't seen it.

Thanks! It was all in deep shade, so the exposure is reasonably even and the saturation is good. I struggled with the shutter speed though!

A very excellent presentation of that bird, as well as the tree he sits in. (I cannot help noticing bark of trees when it so clearly depicts the tree.)

Beautiful image, Rob.

At least that shutter speed is more manageable hand-held with the 55-300mm PLM than with the 150-450mm monster!!!

Thanks! That's true! The 55-300 is much lighter. It makes a great travel lens - I usually combine it with the 16-85.
