A walk through a local park after an overnight snowfall.

Taken with the Pentax "K" 30mm 2.8 on my K20D.

Actually it was -1.0 degree Celsius which is quite comfortable for this time of year in most parts of Canada
If the water had been frozen there would have been more people around to take advantage of skating opportunities.
Thanks for the compliment, I was impressed with how the K20D handled the brightness of the snow.

Very nice and your exposures are right on the money- neither dark nor too light.

That's a very nice compliment roentarre, thanks very much. The monument in the first shot is a memorial to our local soldiers who were killed or were missing in action during the two World Wars.
The original photo, before resizing, is so sharp that it's quite easy to read the names.

I appreciate the compliment, JMR. I, too, felt the exposure was right on, the 30mm 2.8 is an incredible lens.
