Landscape Dogtown Lake in the Mist

I like getting down to the lake early because often the deer come down to the water then. It was seriously foggy this morning. I checked the weather to make sure no storms were lurking around and it was clear. I decided to go ahead and go out in the kayak.

Nice early morning images. That first one is really a beautiful scene. Love the colors of the sun burning through the fog and its reflection on the lake. That would be a pretty print.

Thank you. I think that first one or one of the others like it that I took, might make it up on a wall. A lot of times I try to translate what I see to a photograph and it doesn't work. This time, it shows exactly what prompted me to take the camera out.

Thank you. It was a little eerie being out on the water in it. It's kind of a pain to get to, but worth the drive. The road starts out bad at the beginning of the summer and then gets worse later in the summer. Washboarding gets really bad.

Thank you. I believe it'll be a new one going up once my summer is done. I do a rotation each year.

You were right there at the right time in the right place for that first shot. Those don't happen very often, but certainly got that one.
