On Wednesday morning, I dropped by the nature preserve and photographed one bird. Afterwards, I sat on the front porch at home and shot some images of the birds visiting the feeders. Here's the selection.

Nice pictures and a lot of detail in the feathers. Thanks for posting them.

I really like the variety. The cardinal is really nice and sharp and stands out. You get a much nicer selection of birds in your yard than I do.

Thank you and you are welcome. Had just enough light to get the shots.

Thank you. If I have enough sun flower seed out, they well come even when I am sitting on the porch swing.

Thank you. We live in an area with many trees around. Our yard probably has more trees than others in the neighbor hood and there are also several lots that are undeveloped and fully wooded. This, plus feeders, attacks a good variety of birds.

Thank you, Tony. I am glad that you like variety. When I can get decent shots of birds and wildlife, I try to post a representative variety of the images that I captured.

Thank you, Todd. I am fortunate to have a variety of birds visit the front yard and feeders. All but the first one were taken from my front porch swing. Birds are so wary, they will often give you some odd poses, not the textbook photos.
