Lovely shot with perfect timing. Great details with the soft fluff and textures of the birds feathers and excellent colors.

Thanks Mike! I confess that I did take quite a few photos of this Galah. This one had the best focus on the eye as well as that moment when it reached out for the next blossom.

I wonder if that bird had any idea of what kind of an image he makes!
He should care about that, because he did a good pose for you!

What a great image, Robg. Catching that crimson chest with those white flowers is a real treat.

I wonder sometimes if birds have an actor's guild, to which I haven't paid my fees. They always seem to pose when I don't have a camera!

Thank you! Hopefully I can get some more photos of birds in blossoms over the next few weeks.
