DA*300/K20 dog photo taken at the extreme.. · 11:20 PM

... ISO1600, 1/60s handheld, wide open. I just got the lens and was shooting everything I could find around the house. I just pointed at our dog Ash and snapped, never even thinking it would come out. Gotta love SR and good high ISO capability

BTW I LOVE this lens so far

hehe I think he was. Usually he goes all crazy as soon as he hears the focus of the lens but I can sneak up on him now with the SDM

Well, snap or not, it is a fine shot. A good thing about shots like this, is that you can look back and analyze how you did it, why it looks great, and then employ that knowledge in the future.
