What a fantastic and colorful series of images Rob! I am always amazed at the variety of beautiful birds in your part of the world.

Thanks Todd! It's possible that many birds originally evolved here, so they've had a lot of time to work on their feathers!
I was a bit shocked how dull the plumage of most birds in North America is, although there's exceptions like the amazing hummingbirds.
We're really lucky to have a lot of parrots, and they are very colourful (literally and figuratively).

They don't get much better than that. Fantastic captures of the birds sporting their stuff in down under spring. Great series.

Thank you! I have another where it's feeding on the flower, but I preferred this one for looking straight at the camera.
