Nature Smith Falls Crane

I observed this great crane in Smith Falls this morning. With some timing it's pretty cool, they stand so still you can shoot them with relatively slow shutter speeds, these are both at 1/4 of a second.

Great shots of the Heron and the waterfall. The shutter speed gave you good water flow characteristics and you captured the Heron with nice details. I'd say that that is the Great Blue Heron.

Nice contrast between the motionless Heron and the moving water! I've only seen them at the edge of stationary ponds.
