The sunlight makes that feeder glow brightly. You got a nice detailed capture of the bird in the shadows. I like the colors and the good background bokeh. Nice shot.

Very nice!
The brilliantly glowing feeder includes a wonderful decoration attached to it!
But, actually, that bird really makes the shot belong to it!
Very interesting image to contemplate.

Really nice, Todd - cool lighting. I remember seeing some very aggressive humming birds in Palo Alto several years ago while visiting my daughter and son-in-law who were doing post docs at Stanford. They were scary little stinkers that would get right in your face!

Thanks Mike! This shot opportunity jumped out at me when I saw the light hitting the feeder.

Thanks Angky! Anymore, I need to find creative new ways to photograph these little birds. I have taken and discarded so many photos of hummingbirds, I can't even count them.

Thanks Jer! They are brave little birds. I have had them get right in my face many times. However, I have seen paper wasps chase them out of the backyard several times. They don't want any part of those big wasps.
