Nature Shimmering sunlight among the reeds covering the wetlands along the St Lawrence.

The tide area of the Saint Lawrence wetlands is covered with a thick growth of reeds. They scatter light and create this beautiful tapestry, similar to a Japanese painting. Image recorded with a Canon G3X 20 Mpx superzoom at its maximum focal length (600 mm FF equivalent). There is a built-in Neutral Density filter in the light path in front of the sensor, permitting the use of slower shutter speeds.

The patterns created by the reeds and sparkles of light in the wetlands are always appealing. I can see them as abstracts. Good capture, Richard.
