Nice image. I really like the reddish colors cast by the low rising or setting sun, and the dead tree with all of its twisted limbs makes a nice focal point.

Pretty sunlight colors on the dead tree contrasting with the blue sky. As Todd noted, the image has a rather rich reddish orange tint. Nice capture.

Thanks ToddK, there is a story behind this shoot. As we were about to drive off my husband noticed to the side of the car a black mamba had stood up about 2-3 meters and was watching us....This had happened to me on a walk but never in a vehicle....It's really scary when they do this and sometimes can stand up their full length!!

Thanks MIkeNArk. The sunsets in Africa are really special.....but perhaps I should have done a bit of post processing...

Good treatment of an old snag in a brushy field.
Those images are not always the easiest to make, though I do shoot them a lot (with a lot of disappointing shots).

Thanks angkymac, it was sunset and we had done our evening (booze cruise) drive my hubby and I it caught it on the way back to the lodge.
