Simply beautiful Hamid, While others thought of fabric and wall paper I thought of etched crystal, a la Steuben Glass. Wonderful captures!

The second and third are nice but the first one (as I'm sure you realized) is something very special (definate PPG submission if you are into that). The detail is exquisite and the patterns very "organic". Very well done!

Wow, nice patterns, and nice capture of them too. I wouldn't have realised what they were if you hadn't told me. That first one, with the black background, is my favourite of the three.
Thanks! That's the fun of macro photography... it's sometimes really hard to tell what you're looking at!

Thank you! I imagine etched crystal got it's genesis from trying to replicate nature like this.

Thanks Mike... I did submit that one to the gallery... we'll see how it does LOL

It is amazing how organic these types of patterns form.

frosted windshield

Robin... that is beautiful! Love the soft, blue hues! The textures look like leaves!

We're getting record snow here, but now it's not icy cold enough to get patterns like this again.

It is rare we get snow of any kind here. Some frost on a windshield is the best I can find! It is beautiful.

We've had some fairly mild winters in recent years.... It's nice to get a really good snow again! Now it's warmed a bit, though still below freezing, so we're not getting the frosted windows like before.
