Celebrated my son's Fiftieth Birthday at the Rooftop Terrace Restaurant (21 stories up), then out onto the pool side to photograph the view across the pool.

An interesting and pretty scene from 21 stories up. Good expansive view of Brisbane. That's a large pool up there. Don't know if I'd want to go near the edge. This is a good landscape from a different perspective.

The "high-end" birthday celebration was made worth it all just from this one image!
Very striking image! (And, as Mike hinted, also a scary image! Although I'm sure your great camera placement is the reason for that optical trick.)
Angky.

I am not sure I want to dive into these waters. Great capture!

Thanks Mike. Yes, even though I was not near the edge, I still found myself walking gingerly along the side of the pool from which I took the shot!

No "optical trick" here, Angky - except for a narrow "catchment" guttering hidden behind that outside edge, it is a 21 story drop from the outside edge!

Infinity pools always create magic to an image, well seen and taken.

Terrific scene! It looks like a great place to hang out for a birthday party.
