This rose is vivid and appears to have a nice glow. Perhaps that glow attracted the bee. Pretty shot.

A "bonus" you indeed got!
A curious note that you can probably answer for me--
Would your Canon sensor have recorded the reds pretty much the same as the Pentax K5?
I am trying to understand the reds that my K70 produces; they seem similar to what you got on this rose.
Were these reds precisely what you wanted, and would they have been the same with the Canon?
By the way, I am impressed by the image, even in spite of my curious question.

Would you believe I did not know the bee was there until I uploaded the image into my computer? True story. Thanks for your comments.

I am assuming you are referring to my Pentax k-7. The unfortunate answer is: This flower is not really red, but more of a Wine/Burgundy color. If you care to check out a

thread I started not long ago in the Troubleshooting Section here on PF., you will find some interesting, however disheartening information regarding Pentax and reds. To

answer your question regarding my Canon gear, it would have accurately displayed the real time color of the flower.

Thanks, Amigo. Tony
