Hummingbird returns
Lens: DA 18-250mm Pentax lens Camera: Pentax K5lls Photo Location: Sandford Florida ISO: 800 Shutter Speed: 1/640s Aperture: F9

The Hummingbird came to my yard last month. As he flew thru my poinciana tree I was only able to get one picture. not the best but croping helped.

They are not the easiest bird to capture when they are buzzing around. Nice shot among the yellow blooms.

Even at that high crop, you still got a good image.

Indeed, the little guys are VERY difficult to capture when they're busy (and not too easy when they're not busy). This is excellent. The last hummer I saw in the yard was impossible to shoot, nothing but tree and vine in the image.

Humming birds are definitely something I wish we had here... but sadly that's not to be, too damned cold I guess.

A very good capture rhanz. It is the perfect setting amongst the beautiful yellow flowers.
