It's got the metallic shine. Is that bug alive or dead?

Does not look like a cuckoo wasp with that narrow thread between thorax and abdomen. Likely one of the solitary wasps. Great shot anyway!

Agreed. A very interesting wildlife capture. It does give one a cause to pause and wonder if the subject is alive or not. Very nice image and many thanks for sharing.
