butterfly on lavender

the eyes on the wings distract any predators, J made this shot right in my backyard.

Excellent capture, and with the 50mm macro which is not that easy to get close enough for this kind of shot. The colors and details of the butterfly and flower are outstanding. Well done!

Thank you very much Todd to appreciate, in fact with such a lenses the butterfly where moving pretty fast all the time, J had to make many shots before to obtain a pretty good one.

Great image no matter what lens you used!
But that you did it with the 50 macro is really impressive!
The leaves in the background actually add to the image rather than distracting from it, as is usually the case with such leaves.
Excellent focus and background treatment.

You can get very good shots in your own backyard. This one is a prime example. Beautiful colors and details in both the butterfly and flowers with a nice blurred background. Excellent nature macro.

thank you very much for appreciation, you are absolutely right no matter about lenses, in any case the camera is the extension of our brain and eyes stimulated by
