A tri colored heron and a common galinule, found at the bird sanctuary in Port Aransas.

Nice capture. I really like the markings going down its neck. I saw some in south Florida a few years ago, and they were not quite as dark as this one.

Thank you. It's a great place to take pictures, especially in the winter when there are lots more shore birds there.

Somehow these shots show the separate "characters" of each of the birds.

I like the colors and characteristics of both birds. That tri colored Heron does have darker and more contrasting colors than other photos that I've seen o the bird (I haven't actually seen one.). Nice captures of both.
