The getaway
Posted By: Taff, 12-22-2008, 02:03 AM

I was walking the streets of subiaco today, making a first attempt at street photography, with my 40mm LTD. As I was about to cross the street this old car came screeching around the corner, I just lifted the camera and shot wothout looking through the finder and hoped for the best.
I ended up with this, and thought the getaway was apt considering the passenger he was carrying.

p.s. There is no cropping at all with this image, just B&W conversion in PS and border added

Really good contrast there. Vintage car with a style to it.

Quick draw McGraw, you couldn't have done better if you set up the shot. Nice one mate.

I agree with Britt. Plus, the passenger definitely looks like he or she has a stocking over the face. Merry Christmas
