Macro Sleeping Bees

These are wonderful macro shots of the bees. The bee in the second image is literally covered in pollen. So were these photos taken after it cooled off and they became dormant? Beautifully detailed shots.

These were actually shot just after sunrise. So the bees were waiting to warm up for the day.

These are some fantastic macros! The details are just phenomenal. I once photographed a sleeping bumblebee early one morning. I was able to put my FA 50mm macro right up to it.
