All summer I have come to a nice city park, enjoying the weather and watching for photo opportunities, with the railroad tracks North of me, and nature South of me.
Often the Horseshoe Club is also there.


The forecast for today looked good, so I came for what might be my "last hurrah" of the year.
Apparently, the Horseshoe Club had the same idea, having a picnic instead of competing.
Then some migrating geese stopped by for a refueling break.

Then the geese left.
Then the picnickers left.
Finally I left.

It's nice to find a place like this to view a variety of activities. You will probably find more day to enjoy you visits.

The geese seemed to be as interested in the functionality of the place as much as the picnickers.
Is that a Saturn minivan? I haven't seen a Saturn minivan in quite a long time. This one seems to be really kept up nicely.
