I'm not sure what this little guy is, some sort of fly I think.

Flies do not have long segmented antennae
. This is likely some kind of bee. Great shot!

Thanks! Usually I take a reference picture of the whole body, but I forgot this time. I think you are right - bee or small solitary wasp.
