I've always lusted over Porsche's. Nearest I've come to owning one was back in 1968 when I vacillated over the purchase of a used 356 roadster. In the end I bought a family vehicle. This past weekend I spotted this mid-70s Porsche 911 Turbo in downtown Grand Rapids, OH. Its of the era where the front and rear bumpers distract from its stylish body. I tries several different views but settled on this simple shot. I my opinion, it was the best photo without showing those distracting bumpers.

Cool detail shot! I don't think I've ever seen a Turbo from the air-cooled era on the street, although I've seen 'em at cars shows and concours. I fell in love with Porsches back in 1972 when I was a grad student but certainly couldn't afford one. Finally, in 2009, I bought my first one - a basic Boxster, and I've been driving them ever since.

Agree, you don't see many, let alone on the street. Here are a couple other shots. Several years after my near Porsche experience, I purchased an Elva Courier. It was like a go kart on steroids.
