Well, I am surprised that this type of thread did not get started this year. So post your best landscape of this year!

Well, your examples are going to tough to beat, but here is a favorite of mine from 2008.

Taken from Dunraven Pass towards the Tetons. K10D, DA* 16-50 f/2.8, 21mm, 1/1000 @ f/8, ISO 200.

This one has to be my favorite of the year, bar none...
I had this one printed out in a 5x7, put it in a nice frame, and gave it to Dad (the Canonite) for Christmas. He was so enamored with it that it took him a bit to discover the $50 Adorama gift certificate I had slipped in the package behind the picture.

I've posted this one before, but it's still about my best landscape from last year.

Hmm. Some great pics of some fascinating places!

I had some nice ones in both Colorado and Tennesee, I think this one edges out the others for being fave of the year...

What an inspiring set. Good landscapes pretty much eluded me this year, though the picture below pretty much expresses what I felt when I viewed the original scene (Orton PP made all the difference).

Wow, beautiful images here, everyone, and such a wide range of subjects and interpretations..

My favorite landscape of the year was a 12 image stitch of the NYC skyline shot from 30 miles west of New York.

It's too small to appreciate here, but the print will be about 100" long!
